How To Play Craps

Craps seems to be an intimidating game for many casino games players simply because of the seemingly complex table and the huge amount of betting options available. The fact of the matter however is that it is really quite simple to learn how to play it, with the key being the realization that it is a game of rounds. Keep in mind that there are only two rounds in every game, with the first round being the Come Out round, and the second one called the Point round. It would also be helpful to know that in these two different rounds, there is only one bet.

The main goal in the Come Out round is to roll a 7 or an 11 when you are the shooter or the player throwing the dice. These numbers will result in an automatic win during the first round of the game. Conversely, if you happen to roll a 2, 3, or a 12 that results in an automatic loss. This is why these numbers are called craps. Any other number that comes up in the first round of the game (1, 4, 5, 6, 8, 9, or 10) is designated as a Point, and the game then goes on to the next round.
